cuteCUT 1.0 is a utility blade designed for when you need to cut and look cute at the same time!
After working for an everyday carry brand as an industrial designer, I learned that there is a huge lack of products in this category designed for women that aren't just your typical "pink and shrink" alternatives. I was inspired to redesign a utility blade, a small product with a simple function, with an aesthetic that is extremely out of the box. cuteCUT 1.0 is a stylish, youthful, and ever so useful tool that can be hooked onto one's keychain or bag.
The art direction is inspired by the early 2000's era aesthetic of individual customization and translucent materials.
